 WILLIAM KUNKEL, President & CEO, USA
With nearly 30 years of experience, Bill has been actively involved with domestic and international media sales, programming, and syndication. Bill started his career with MGM/UA Entertainment with various sales management positions culminating with VP of US sales.
He then moved to Tribute Entertainment in New York where he was VP of Sales and Marketing.
In October of 1986 he joined Tri-Star Pictures, Inc. and as President of Domestic Distribution for both Tri-Star Television and Tele Ventures. Next, he took on a partnership and Executive VP at Maxam Entertainment and helped build the company with AH Belo Company, selling MAXAM Ent. to C.B.S. Broadcasting in Feb. of 1996 when he was then promoted to CBS International Media Senior Vice President. As Senior VP, he developed the company concept and built the operating unit inside CBS Broadcast International.
In April of 2000, as President/CEO of EyeVenture Media and Entertainment, he brought about the joint venture between CBS Broadcast International and MediaCom Worldwide.
Later, Bill formed Gulfstream Associates, LLC which continues many of the services provided by EyeVenture.
Today, Bill is in the process of settling down with Black Dog Films as our President and CEO and take Black Dog to a new level in the world of Film.
